At Green Grid Connect (GGC), we know that strong relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) are a critical part of delivering high quality, reliable energy infrastructure projects.
Recently, members of our team visited key global OEM partners, including Sieyuan Toshiba, to strengthen these relationships and align on how we continue to deliver better outcomes across high voltage and energy storage projects.
These partnerships are central to how we operate. From early-stage design and equipment selection through to installation, commissioning and long-term operations and maintenance, we work closely with OEMs to ensure every stage of delivery is integrated and optimised.
During the visit, our team met with a range of supply partners to explore innovation and product development, and discuss construction and deployment efficiencies, global supply chain opportunities and risks, as well as evolving commercial and contracting models.
This level of engagement allows us to bring global capability into local delivery. By working closely with OEMs, we’re able to improve constructability, reduce programme and cost risk and ensure the assets we deliver perform over the long term.
As a high voltage and energy infrastructure delivery partner, we see our role as connecting these global technologies with practical, on-the-ground delivery. Strong OEM relationships give us greater certainty across the full project lifecycle and enable us to respond proactively to challenges as they arise.
They also support a more collaborative approach to risk and opportunity. By aligning early and working together through delivery and into operations, we create better outcomes for our clients and more resilient projects overall.
As we continue to grow our presence nationally and expand into international markets, strengthening these global partnerships remains a key part of how we deliver integrated, end-to-end energy solutions that are high quality, cost-effective and easier for our clients to deliver.
