At Green Grid Connect (GGC), we’ve reached a key milestone on a 500MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project, with foundation installation now underway using our innovative precast solution.
As a high voltage and energy infrastructure delivery partner, we’re always looking for smarter ways to improve how projects are delivered. Our precast foundation approach is designed to reduce site works, accelerate construction timelines and lower both cost and risk, without compromising quality.
By shifting more work off site into controlled manufacturing environments, we’re reducing site works, improving safety outcomes and accelerating installation. We are always working towards more efficient and more predictable ways to deliver complex energy infrastructure.
Just as importantly, this approach supports local industry. The precast foundation components are manufactured locally, helping to invest in the project region while building local capability. We always enjoy the opportunity to deliver EPC projects in a way that not only reduces impact on site, but also creates lasting benefits for the communities we work in.
Through local sourcing, skills development and ongoing engagement, we aim to contribute to stronger regional economies and leave a positive legacy beyond the life of the project. We are proud to invest locally helping to build long-term capability, support local businesses and strengthen community connections.
Collaboration continues to play a central role in how we deliver, working closely with regional partners to ensure solutions are tailored, practical, safe and effective.
As foundation works progress, this milestone reflects our focus on innovation, safety and delivering better outcomes for both our clients and the communities we’re part of.
